The three statements that correctly describe the function of the TCP or the UDP are the following: First, letter A. This means that the destination port of the UDP recognizes the service or the application that will be in charge of handling the data. The second is letter C.

The UDP segments will be placed within the ID packets for easy transport to the different channels that are within the network. Lastly, letter D is also going to be important. This is in charge of identifying the particular service or application that will be in charge of getting the data and returning it back to the PC.

The UDP destination port number identifies the application or service on the server which will handle the data.
UDP segments are encapsulated within IP packets for transport across the network.
The source port field identifies the running application or service that will handle data returning to the PC.
