False-for a label to earn a usda-certified organic seal, it must meet specific government standards-organic meat, poultry, and dairy come from animals that arent given hormones or antibiotics, and organic crops are grown without using most conventional fertilizers, synthetic pesticides, or bioengineering. natural, on the other hand, is loosely defined as not containing synthetic preservatives or artificial color or flavor; the term is not regulated. though many foods labeled natural are healthy, some, like all-natural soda and chips, are still loaded with calories and sugar.
