The baffle wall is specifically meant to improve the overall potable water and wastewater control. This has the ability to minimize density currents so that the water flow can be better. This can also minimize the tendency of water to flow at the inlet velocity straight towards the basin.

Water will then come in its correct flow instead of in just one big gush. The baffle wall can also have an impact on the wind currents that may sometimes have a huge effect on water flow. Based on the things that are mentioned above, baffle wall is always used for actions that are related to water flow.
