Bytecode-java is a modern, object-oriented language that has a syntax similar to c++. it also has dynamic binding, garbage collection, and a simple inheritance model. java is a general-purpose computer language and is not limited to writing web applications. references to java bytecode can be embedded in a web browser, allowing programs to be executed as they are downloaded from the world wide web. the jvm on the users machine can execute the java bytecode using an interpreter, or use a just-in-time compiler to convert the bytecode into native machine code.
