The use of a spreadsheet showing all the relevant fields, the customer name and number, the item, the individual cost, the tax levied for starters. So my answer would be page layout and custome fields.

Then validation field would be ncessary to indicate the validity of the customer's account this kind of data, the record keeping and maintenance are so vital to a business. The owner must be able to access a customer's name, number and sales record whenever he needs, and an accurate spreadsheet record would be vital.
