What does Gatsby tell Nick about his past?

Written in 1925 by author F. Scott Fitzgerald, the Great Gatsby is a children’s book that involves its characters living in west and east egg, a fictional town. The story is narrated by Nick Carraway who was Gatsby’s neighbor. Nick narrates some of the many events that occur as he moves to west egg from Midwest egg.

He moved to try his luck out as a bonds salesperson. He is a Yale university graduate. Gatsby is his neighbor and among his interesting story is his love daisy. He tell nick that he fell in love with her and then lied about his financial status to impress her.
