To make div slide from right to left, you have to place the
content you want to slide inside a
wrapper. After that, you will now set the right margin of that
content to its width on the negative. The reason why the
wrapper is used is so that the
content would be hidden by having the x-overflow set to hidden too. Then, you can use the native animate () routine of jQuery to set the right margin to 0.
This will make the
content to appear with a sliding effect in a horizontal manner. Therefore, to make a div slide from right to left, you can make use of the jQuery animate method. But mind you, there is no such method like slideRight () and slideLeft (), unlike the slideUp () and slideDown () in jQuery, you can only use jQuery animate () method to simulate these effects.
