There are a lot of people who are always confused about their insurance policies even if they have done their best in order to understand what they are paying for. For financial statements, it is not true that the companies will add expenses from the investment income in order to show the net income they have acquired from investments.

There is no need for insurance companies to show this to their customers. What customers have to know more about is their policies. As long as they know their coverage and what they may potentially get, that is what will matter most.

On their financial statements, insurance companies add expenses from investment income to show the net income from investments.
