Inheritance is a complex matter. Not everything can be inherited. However, when crossed intelligently, the right pair of genes can be passed on. One thing is for sure. Yes, they are not completely similar. However, they resemble enough to be grouped in the same class and be treated similarly. This is how inheritance works. Scientists take advantage of this ability to reproduce and connect many required genes together to create a subclass with desirable qualities.
