Using safe mode will allow the computer to still load even if it may be encountering a critical problem. There might be a program that is interfering with the normal operation of the OS.

Using safe mode will make it easier for the troubleshooter to find the issue and correct the possible reason why Windows is not functioning normally. There are different ways to turn on the computer in safe mode depending on the type of Windows that you have.
