Model scouts look for models who match what the qualities and characteristics that their clients are looking to hire. For example, a model scout for an advertising agency may be looking for a twenty-something year old female who looks like she spends a lot of time in the outdoors because they are advertising hiking equipment. Or, a photographer working for a woman’s plus size clothing catalog may be looking for plus size models.
