What was the treaty that ended WWI that laid some of the unrest that would later explode into WWII?

The Treaty of Versailles. This treaty was signed by the German leaders on June 28, 1919. The Treaty is made up of 15 parts and 440 articles. Though it is an important part of history, the United States does not have a signature on it.

This may be surprising to many because President Wilson was apart of the negotiations for the treaty, but ultimately, the Senate rejected the treaty. Before the treaty was signed, many countries threatened to not sign it, including Italy, who walked out of the talks. Each country wanted something particular added to the treaty before they signed it.
