Let us say that a type of liquid has been given to you but you need to figure out what it is. How will you be accurate in predicting the liquid? You need to know its boiling point. Aside from knowing the boiling point, you can also check the physical properties of the liquid provided that it is not corrosive.

For example, you can check the volume of water, its color, and its smell. You can do the same with the other unknown liquids that you may come across. The more that you become familiar with the properties and the characteristics of the liquid, the easier it will be for you to determine what type of liquid you have.
