Atomistic view is a philosophycal thought that originated in atomism or the atomic theory: the theory that every matter found in the universe is composed of atoms (smallest indivisible particle).

Generally, atomistic view connotes any doctrine which posits that the subject-matter of a given system is divisible into a individual constituents which cannot be further divided and are thus the ultimate components of the system. Taking this view to the general society, for instance, means that societal life is an aggregate of the individuals (actions, beliefs, and so on). The implication is that social processes are offshoots of collaboration among individuals (social atoms).
