Your eyesight is the most important thing for driving out of all your senses as these pick up the most important information which you will need for driving. Hence, it is your eyes that determine the path of any vehicle.

You should always look at the center line approximately 12 seconds ahead and keep looking 12 seconds ahead of your car to maintain a visual search. In most of the cases, the time lies between 12-15 seconds but the appropriate one is 12 seconds. Hence, the correct answer will be option C. 12 seconds.
