The holonomic brain theory was proposed and developed by the renowned neuro scientist Karl Pribaram. He did it in collaboration with physicist David Bran. The Theory describes the brain as a holographic storage network. It basically states that the brain works like a web of interconnected fibers there are certain patches of field potentials.
These are called the windowed Fourier transforms or wavelets. These densities are thought to store important information. It basically attempts to convert the space time coordinate systems into spectral coordinate systems. It assumes that the brain is able to function because of the Fourier and Inverse Fourier transformations in the brain.
