Friction is the force that resists movement when two objects are moved against one another. For instance, it is friction that helps your brakes stop the wheels, it is friction that results in that carpet burn and it is friction that also allows your cars wheels to slow down against the road as the brakes are applied.

There are different formulas in physics that allow you to calculate and quantify almost everything in the world. Hence, friction can also be calculated using the formula N=mg. here N stands for the frictional force while m stands for the mass of the object and g stands for gravity. This can be used to calculate the friction exerted by an object of mass m on planet earth with a gravity of g.

Calculatethe normal force on the object using the formula N = mg. Let "m" refer to the mass of the object and g refer to the gravitational constant.
