The correct answer to this question is option C – 17 The age at which you can receive your PPL (Private Pilot Licence) is age 17. Private Pilot Licence is a type of pilot licence that allows an individual with such license to be able to fly privately. Such individual can fly in visual flight conditions and also have passengers on board. However, holder of such licence cannot fly for paid compensation or hire.

PPL is considered a foundation course for aspiring airline pilot career. It is the first course take by new student pilots. It takes about 3 months to complete the course. Students are required to log a minimum of 35 flight hours to be eligible for PPL. Hope you find this information helpful.

It's 16 for Balloon and Glider and 17 for Powered aircraft. And is this in the US? It did not specify.
