What is the difference between ROM and RAM?

There are many differences between ram and rom.Rom is a non-volatile chip whereas the ram is a volatile chip.Rom does not require a constant source of power and ram does require a constant source of power.Ram allows quick manupilation.

Two from: ROM can only be read from; 1 can be used for data and programs which are needed all the time. 1 RAM can be read from AND written to; 1 Volatile/temporary lost when power lost; 1 used for programs currently in use. 1 Read Only Memory, or/and Random Access Memory on own Max 1 mark Explanation for 2 marks
