The grammatically correct statement would be: because the driver was speeding, the car left the road and hit a tree. This statement does not contain any sort of grammatical errors and furthermore, it succeeds in giving the message in the least amount of words in an efficient manner.

The usage of the right number of words is an important practice in conversational English language as certainly no one would want to listen to long sentences only to find a single conclusion. Apart from that, the right usage of commas are also important to make the other person understand your message.
