The correct answer to this question is C, Henry George. Born September 2, 1839, Henry George was a journalist and an economist. His works are behind many of the reforms movements during the Progressive Era of the 19th Century. George's works are also the inspiration behind the economic philosophy known as Georgism.

This philosophy is the belief people should own the values that they produce. Progress and poverty is his most famous work. Released in 1879, it sold millions of copies all over the world. It addresses poverty and inequality, among a world where many economic and technology advancements were being made.
