The correct answer to this question is A, 2nd Continental Congress. This congress succeeded the First Continental Congress. It was a meeting of delegates from the Thirteen Colonies. It started on May 10, 1775 and ended on March 1, 1781. During this time, they had many meetings in locations including Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Peyton Randolp was the President of this Congress and Charles Thomson was the secretary. Other notable members of this Congress include Benjamin Franklin and John Hancock. The 2nd Continental Congress is noted for adopting many resolutions including the Declaration of Independence, Olive Branch Petition, and the Articles of Confederation.
