Management is seen in many different businesses. Since the owner can’t be at their business during all hours and the day and night, he or she must hire a manager or set of managers to oversee the workers and business. They usually make decisions about what should be done so that everything is running smoothly. The main function is to make sure everything is secure and running correctly.
Restaurants and clothing stores may have a few different levels of management including the head manager and some assistant managers who work right underneath them. These assistant managers will oversee the staff by making sure they are doing their jobs correctly. Sometimes, managers are allowed to hire employees and fire them when necessary.
