Data from a report's summary rows can be displayed in two types of ways. The first way it can be displayed is through a table. It is best to use a table when you are entering data that is numerical.

• Dashboard is the application used for reviewing and presenting your salesforce data in a graphical layout.

• You will create a dashboard by dragging a component into the preview pane.

• Each component will demonstrate your report data in a different visual chart display.

• Once you have dragged in a component, click on the data source tab, and choose your information.

• Drag that statement onto the component in the preview pane.

• Report charts permit you to place a single chart right at the top of your report so that when you see the report, you can see the chart and the report results in one view.

• Open a report builder and click on add chart in the report builder.

• For current charts, click the edit chart.

• Pick chart type.

• Enter the appropriate settings or the chart data tab for the chart type you have chosen.

• Enter settings on the formatting tab and click ok.

• Your report should have at least one grouping before you can add a chart.
