What is not the responsibility of a service catalogue manager?

There are different things that the service catalog manager is responsible for. For example, the manager is in charge of checking if the information in the service catalog is accurate (A). The catalog manager should also check if the information available in the catalog corresponds with the information available in the portfolio (C).

He should also make sure that all of the information is well-recorded in the service catalog. It is obvious that this type of manager does work that is related to the service catalog. Therefore, it is not his responsibility to check the accuracy of the service pipeline which is (B).

A service catalogue manager is responsible for making sure that all of the services and products for the operation of the system is created and updated when needed. It also has correct data on the services provided and those that are about to be running. There are required modifications to the service catalogue which is when the Service Catalogue is needing to be changed. The service catalogue contains all of the services that are available. They are available for deployment.

The responsibilities include ensuring the information in the catalogue is accurate, the information in the catalogue is consistent with that in the Portfolio and that all of the operational services are recorded in the catalogue. Making sure the information in the service pipeline is accurate is not part of the responsibility of the service catalogue manager.
