The correct answer to this question is A, 0.25%. Most experts round up the amount to .3%, which is what .25 rounds up to. This amount is low, considering that 71% of the Earth's surface is covered with water. Icecaps, soil and glaciers use the other 99.7%. Most of the .3% is still unattainable for human usage.

Most of the water we use as humans come from rivers, which is surface water. There is also groundwater than humans can use. The underground water is used as moisture for the soil. It is also the reason why rivers flow because they keep streams going.

The term “endergonic” is a term that is found in the scientific branch of biology and chemistry. It refers the amount of energy it takes to create the chemical reaction is greater than the energy that comes out of the chemical reaction. The opposite is the exergonic reaction. When there is a synthesis of glucose from carbon dioxide and water, it creates a process called endergonic.

A chemical synthesis is when a reaction occurs chemically and the result is more complex than before. Glucose is the simple sugar. According to its formula, it is made up of six carbon atoms, six oxygen atoms and twelve hydrogen atoms. This sounds right since carbon dioxide and water contain the same atoms, but in different amounts.
