Photons/bundles of energy: X rays make up x radiation just light every other electromagnetic radiation. They can be produced in parcels of energy called photons.

X rays have high penetrating power, they have shortwave length and these rays can easily penetrate our body.

X rays are invisible; they cannot be seen, felt or heard. They possess no charge and no mass.

X rays are similar to light waves and they travel at a speed of light in a vacuum.

X rays travel in a straight line, differ in their source of origin and they also have different energies, the wavelength ranges from 0.01 to 10 nanometers.
