The wording of the question uses double negatives which results in a positive. In other works the question seems to be asking what is the opposite to ineffective coping for this individual. Since dependent personalities depend on the involvement of others the opposite to that ineffective coping would be positive coping and thus the answer 'D' would be incorrect.
