Haymitch Abernathy won the 50th Hunger Games and is Katniss and Peeta’s mentor. As a tribute from District 12, his victory was a controversy. Usually, tributes from lower districts have a low chance of surviving due to low to zero sponsorship from the rich betters. But Haymitch successfully grabbed a knife and supplies bag and survived until he and the tribute from District 1 were the only two left.

He was injured but he learned that the force field reflects anything. When he was cornered by the District One’s tribute, he positioned himself near the force field and dodged the ax thrown to him by the tribute that killed her. C is the correct answer.
