I think it is Endothermic, because they said: "finishes with more than it started" and finishes means products, and exothermic has less energy in the products. Also, endothermic has it positive, so products - reactants = +H delta.

I agree Areejwalid - if there is more energy than than it started then it must have taken in energy - endothermic reactions take in energy
