The decomposers are known to be organisms that are usually found in the soil. They make sure that organic material is properly disposed of so that the cycle can start again. The organic material may be composed of living things that have died.

Once the proper nutrients have been retrieved from these materials, they can be effective in making plants grow better. Without decomposers, it will be hard for organic materials to go through the process of decomposition. There are some examples of decomposers such as fungi and also bacteria. The problem with decomposers is they sometimes feast on organic materials that are still alive.
