Yes, the ventricles are 2 of the 4 chambers of the heart but only 1 ventricle pumps blood to the "body". the left ventricle does this. to make a long story short, the right ventricle takes blood from the right atrium and shoots it to the lungs where it becomes oxygenated. then returns through the pulmonary veins into the left atrium which then goes to the left ventricle and shoots up through the aorta. then into 4 different arteries and it makes its way around until it's finally the veins that bring back the deoxygenated blood to the right atrium via the superior and inferior vena cava where the process start over again.
