The row of buttons in Windows 2007 is also known as ribbon. This is located just below the Title bar and the Quick Access Toolbar. There are seven tabs that are available here that will provide different purposes. The following can be seen here: Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, Mailing, Review and View.

There are different commands that are available from the buttons that you will pick. The fact that everything is categorized neatly will make it easy for you to decide what you are going to do. It is also easy to remember where all the details are. There may be some slight changes depending on the type of Microsoft that you have.
