The correct answer to this question is B, ketones.These ketones are the result of a build up of unbroken down fats and fatty acids. This is the result of the body not gaining enough carbohydrates or sugar. A clean catch urine test is required to check for the ketones.

The test can be performed for a number of reasons including pregnancy, vomiting, or a high blood sugar. Abnormal results can be due to many factors including fasting, anorexia, fever, pregnancy, and breast feeding. While many doctors perfom this test, there are many kits also sold at retailers such as Target, CVS, and The Vitamin Shoppe.
