To add double space on Microsoft word, follow the following steps below.

1. Open your Microsoft word on your desktop
2. Go to design
3. Click on paragraph spacing on the left side. A dropdown menu will appear.
4. Click on the double, and then the document is not double spaced.

For Windows 2007/2010, set your line spacing, change using the home tab, change using the page layout menu, change paragraph spacing, then click on the double then click on set as default. You can also use the keyboard shortcut.

Highlight your text press ctrl+2 on pc or command +2 on mac to give double spacing. Press ctrl+5 or command +5 for 1.5 line spacing and ctrl +1 for pc and command +1 for single spacing.

You know that you can always double-space the whole document that you are creating on Microsoft Word. It will make a lot of difference in that way.

• You would need to go to Design and choose paragraph spacing if you would like to make everything double spaced.

• If in case you do not want to double space the whole document, what you can do is to select the paragraphs that you would like to change.

• Just highlight them and click on double space. It will make a lot of difference in that way.

There are some people who would like double spaced documents because this means that you would need to place fewer words in order to fill up the whole page.

In this article, I will be showing you three major ways by which you can use double space in Microsoft Word.

The first method goes thus:

• In the ribbon at the top of the word interface, click on the Design tab.

• Next thing to do is to click the paragraph spacing, which shows a menu of different spacing options.

• From this menu, click double; after which, the whole document would be double-spaced.

Here comes the second way:

• Kindly set your line spacing under the home or page layout tab before you start.

• Locate the paragraph group under these tabs and click on the line spacing button.

• The line spacing is mostly on 1.15 at default. You can just change it to 2.0 by selecting or clicking on it.
In addition, you can as well achieve a double spacing with your keyboard. All you need to do is to use a shortcut by holding the "ctrl" key and press "2".

Using Double Space in word can help make the document easier to read.

One way to use double space in the word is to follow these steps:

• At the top of Word, click the Design tab.

• Click Paragraph Spacing.

• Then, click Double to double space the entire document.

If using Word 2007 or 2010, follow these steps to Double Space:

• First, set the line spacing.

• In Page Layout, click the arrow next to the word. A menu should appear

• Under Line Spacing, click Double.

• This will space the document, or you may choose to double a certain text on the document.
