To most Christians, differentiating between God and Jesus Christ may not be a very difficult thing to do because they have been taught that Jesus Christ is the same as God, especially in the concept of the Trinity. The main issues always arise when you read from other religious books which regard Jesus Christ as a Prophet.

However, there are still some little differences between God and Jesus Christ, even in the Bible. The story of God started from Genesis right from when he created heaven and earth plus every other thing that exists therein. However, while the Bible had earlier talked more about the coming of someone who would reconcile humankind with God in the old testament, it is in the new testament that the person of Jesus Christ was really discussed.

Most times, Christians use to describe Jesus Christ as God in human form. It is revealed in the Bible that Jesus Christ was crucified, though he resurrected on the third day, this was something that God wouldn't have allowed to happen to Himself.

Christianity is the largest religion in the world and two of the main concepts of this religion are God and Jesus. They are two figures that are mentioned throughout the Christian's holy book of the Bible. God is the most supreme. Jesus is his son and throughout the bible he is referred to as the "Son of God".

Though Jesus his not God's physical son, he is referred to as such in the spiritual form. Another difference between them is how they existed. God exists as a spirit, while Jesus was a human who died for the sins of those who accepted them as their Lord & Savior.

God is generally accepted as a supreme being by relatively everybody, probably except the atheist only. However, the relationship or difference between God and Jesus Christ is still a topic people argue or debate on till this moment. Many proclaim that Jesus Christ is God, while still, many disagree.

Whichever way, I would be writing on this topic majorly from the Christians' point of view, or better still, according to the Bible. Jesus referred to himself as a Son of God, which the Jews have issues with from the time He came to the earth, and some are still fighting that in their head up till now.

Though I feel religion is not something of the head, but of the heart. However, the Christian scholars explained to us that the term "Son of God" does not really mean God "giving birth" to a son, but it means God in form of man. And this is where I will strike my difference.

God is a Spirit, according to the Bible, and He cannot die in His form; because a spirit doesn't die. So, he had to come in another form in flesh, but still Him. And this form is Jesus Christ; who, only, died for the sins of the whole world.
