Have you heard some people refer to what you know as a cow to be “heifer?” You should not confuse the two with each other. When you say “heifer,” this refers to a female cow that has not have had any offspring yet. The moment that a “heifer” is able to produce an offspring, that is the time when it will be called a cow. There are also some differences with the names of the male cows.

For example, an adult male cow will be called as a bull. There are different bulls that are being used as entertainment in some parts of the world but some people have gotten into accidents because of it. Some have even died because of it.
