In math, tables and charts are two ways that data can be displayed. One of the key differences between the two is how the data is displayed in each. Tables have data that are different rows and columns. One of these normally includes a header or title for the information shown, while the other is the information that is shown.

Charts show the data in a graph form. This is easier to see and evaluate because the data is clearly shown in the form of either bar, lines, or slices. Most charts are even color-coordinated to make it easier to understand.

The table and the chart are both used in order to display data, but in order to help you understand their differences, you should know what they will be used for. A table is used to display the data or the needed information in various rows and even columns.

The chart will be placing all of the information and data in a graphical way so that it will be easier to understand the statistics that are being displayed. The available information will be placed in various forms.

They can be in the form of lines, bars, or even slices, depending on the type of chart that you will choose. The table will usually look basic, although you can change the colors of the different columns and rows to create distinctions.
