Badgers and Beavers are two types of animals. Between the two, badgers are fatter with short legs. They also have short tails and their faces are black. Beavers are thicker, but smaller in size. They will differ in color because the top of their fur is a reddish color and this sits on top of their overall brown fur.

Their thick fur helps protects them from the cold weather. It also helps them swim in waters that are very cold and sometimes icy. Badgers live underground, while beavers can live in water and are sometimes housed in zoos or lodges.

Badgers and beavers may seem similar in the beginning, but you have to realize that they have some differences that will help you distinguish one over the other. Badgers have elongated bodies, but their legs are going to be short. They will also have heads that are a bit long. Beavers are animals with thick bodies. They will usually have long and warm fur that will cover them.

The color of their fur is somewhat unique from beavers because even though they are also brown in color, they would have red fur on top. Their tails are also going to be longer as compared to the badger. There are some people who would love to care for beavers and would usually keep them in their homes for some time.

They have long and warm red fur on top of the brownish fur, which protects them from cold and allows them to swim in cold or icy waters. They build their homes close to the river or dam. Their homes are called “lodges”. They are usually found in the zoo. Beavers can hide in water for 15 minutes, and they act as an alarm signal for danger.
