Sunnis and Ahmadis represent two different religious sects of Muslims. Both factions believe in the Koran and Muhammed; however, this is where the similarities end. The prophethood demonstrates the significant difference between the two.

The Sunni’s are said to be more orthodox, and they are the largest denomination of Islam society. Ahmadis do not believe that Mohammed is the final prophet. They believe that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed of Qadian is the prophet they are waiting to come.

This forthcoming is not what Sunni’s believe, as they deem Muhammad to be the final prophet. Sunni refers to the followers of the Prophet Mohammad, as they learn and study the teachings of Mohammad. Sunni’s believe that Mohammad did not choose a successor to lead his community upon his death.
