When you say “parody,” you are referring to a type of comedic commentary about a task or a job. There are some imitations that are done but in a more comedic way. Satire is something that people use when they would like to offer some criticism about something that has been done.

While this will not be done in an angry way, it is still obvious that the message of the satire is loud and clear. This way, people will recognize the sarcasm. One thing that is the same about the two is that they would both use exaggerations in order to work properly. The more that you become exposed to these, the easier it will be for you to recognize them when needed.

A parody is a literary work in which laughter and fun are given to the readers or audiences by mimicking in such a way that people find it humorous or amusing. Popular films of the long ago are recreated with a dash of comic relief. One of the best examples of parodies is Saturday Night Live, which has been on television for decades, and it has been entertaining people with the comedian’s impressions of Presidents, actors and actresses, and other famous people.

A parody has no ulterior motive except to make people laugh. On the other hand, satires are a little bit different from the parody in the sense that the express intent of the satire is to provide a specific message to the audience, which makes them think about what is being said as it pertains to society. Unfortunately, satire is a very sophisticated form of entertainment, and not everyone can understand.
