A lot of people are aware that oak and maple are two different types of trees that will look different from each other. If you would check out their leaves, you will notice that maple leaves are more pointed as compared to oak leaves. You will also notice that there are some differences when it comes to the fruits that they have.

The fruit of the oak of this tree is known to be an acorn while the fruit of the maple tree is called a samara. When it comes to wood, oak is considered to be stronger. If you need to create heavy-duty furniture or if you want to make sure that you will have something that is water-resistant, oak is the better option. A maple is a good option if you want something that is more lightweight.
