Cozaar is also known as Losartan. It is a medicine that is part of a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Cozaar helps improve blood circulation by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.

Cozaar is given to a patient with high blood pressure and a patient with type two diabetes experiencing hypertension. It is an effective way of slowing down long-term kidney damage.

Diovan is also known as Valsartan, and it also belongs to the group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists.

Diovan is more effective when compared to Cozaar. It is not prescribed to pregnant women because it can cause the death of the unborn child. Diovan is used in the treatment of heart failure when a patient experience heath failure Diovan reduce the risk of death.
