One main difference between diabetes and prediabetes is how high your blood sugar levels are. When you say prediabetes, this means that you have a higher blood sugar than how the normal blood sugar levels should be but not in an exaggerated manner.

When you say diabetes, this means that your blood sugar levels are high enough to be diagnosed to have type 2 diabetes. If in case you are wondering what type 2 diabetes is, this is the type of diabetes that you may acquire because of eating unhealthy food products and a stationary lifestyle.

People are always recommended to take good care of their health to prevent these conditions.
