Adware, otherwise known as advertising, supported software is just that. When the user is online, they will be presented with a static display box, a banner, or a video pop-up ad, which will create revenue for the advertiser. If the user clicks on the ad, then even more money is made on a per-click basis. Spyware is a whole different animal, in that when the user is online, the spyware will collect information regarding the user, and it will hack your computer without your permission.

This simply allows potential customers to make an adequate decision about whether to purchase the programs being advertised or not. However, once the program is purchased, the computer program will automatically stop being advertised any further so that the purchaser can use it. Spyware, on the other hand, is also a software application used mostly to track the buying habits of customers. This software application helps business owners to have adequate information about the average number of purchases made by their existing customers on their websites over a period of time.
