AHU happens to be an appliance that is used in calculating air, and it is the acronym for Air Handling Unit. On the other hand, HVAC is the acronym for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning system, and it is the central unit where AHU is connected. The Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning System (HVAC) make use of the principles of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.

This is majorly about the comfort of automotive environmental technology. The discoveries of scientists like Michael Faraday, Reuben Trane, Wills Carrier, Nikolay Lvov, and few others aided the HVAC system. Conversely, the Air Handling Unit happens to be a large metal box that helps to maintain a suitable atmosphere by conditioning the air.

Some of the components that make up the AHU include blower, cooling elements, humidifier, heat recovery device, vibration isolators, heating elements, filters, mixing chambers, and controls. There three major types of AHU, which are the terminal unit, the makeup air unit, and the rooftop unit.
