Pinterest and Flickr are two different sites that allow you to share your photos. The main differences between Flickr and Pinterest are that flicker allows you to upload photos, create albums, and share them via links. Flickr has a pattern to how pictures are uploaded, which is by uploading directly from your hard disk to the Flickr’s storage this procedure can also be done with Pinterest, there are limited numbers of pictures that can be posted at a particular time on Flickr and the particular size of the photo.

Pinterest, on the other hand, is not just a photo-sharing site but also a social network. Pinterest allows you to view others' photos, pin them to your wall. Pinterest does not mean a restriction on the number of photos that can be upload yet.

Flickr and Pinterest are two different sites that allow the user to share their photos online. The main difference is that Flickr is strictly a photo-sharing site, whereas Pinterest is a combination of a photo-sharing site and social network. It even permits the following of other people's pins with zero controversies.

Another noticeable difference between Pinterest and Flickr is that Flickr has a more conventional technique to sharing photos, which is to upload directly from the user's hard drive and into Flickr's storage. Pinterest lets you pin pictures that you find from other sites. On the other hand, Flickr enforces a strict policy on the size and number of photos that you can upload.

Pinterest and Flickr are two different sites where you can share your pictures online. But what you can do on these two platforms makes the difference between them. Flickr happens to be a site where you can share your pictures by uploading them and creating albums through the sharing of links. On the other side of the coin, Pinterest happens to be a website where you cannot just upload your pictures, but it also serves as a social network as it allows you to browse the pin of other users and also repin their pictures to your own.

The source of real pictures makes another difference between Flickr and Pinterest. To get your image on Flickr storage as a user, you just have to upload it from your hard disk. Actually, Pinterest also gives a chance for you to do this, but the additional feature is that you can also pin a picture to Pinterest from another site. This is simply done by you copying the link of that very image and pastes it on Pinterest, which helps you to extract it on your profile.
