Generation X and Millennials are two of the generations that are available. People who apart of Generation X were born between the years 1965 and 1980. Millennials were born between the years of 1981 and 200. Generation X has about 50 million people, while Millennials have about 70 million people. There are many cultural and financial differences between these two generations. Generation X was deemed as the first where more moms were working and taking care of the home. They also dealt with the energy crisis. Millennials were the first to grow up in the digital age and dealt with the 9/11 attacks.

One of the main differences between those who are born as Generation X and Millennials is the time frame. Those who are born as Generation X are born from 1965 to 1980. Those who are born as Millenials are born from 1981 to 1997.

Those who are still part of Generation X were born not knowing a lot of technological items while those who are considered as millennials have grown up having different gadgets as a part of their normal lives. With this fact alone, it will not be hard to see why those who are part of Gen X and the Millenials usually feel that they do not have anything in common. The things that they grew up with are definitely different.
