Memory is known to be the location wherein data can be stored temporarily. Most of the time, the data that will be placed there will not last for a long time. If the electricity suddenly goes out while data is being transferred, it will definitely get lost.

Storage is the component of your computer or other devices that will be in charge of storing the different data that you would like to place on your computer. The storage may come in a drive that will come with the gadget or it may be an external drive that will hold all of the needed data. You will be able to access the data even if you have already turned off your gadget.
