Algebra and trigonometry are two subjects that are studied by any mathematics student that passes through the high school and college. Algebra simply refers to the study of polynomials, rules, and equations in mathematics. It takes an approach whereby manipulations are done to variables and numbers in order to solve a particular mathematical equation.

The different forms of algebra which are being studied include elementary algebra, linear algebra, abstract algebra, and also algebraic geometry. Elementary algebra is usually considered as the simple or introduction part of algebra, while the abstract algebra is the advanced part of algebra.

On the other hand, trigonometry refers to an aspect of mathematics that deals majorly with triangles as well as the measurements of angles and sides in triangles. The angles are usually measured in degrees. As a matter of fact, algebra can be incorporated in trigonometry, as variables might be needed to be solved.
